This advanced course was originally written for nurses as part of their 'Degree
in Complementary Medicine' at a UK University. That information has been
extended in our correspondence course to make it suitable for people without
a medical background.
Our aim was to make the course notes understandable, concise and checkable.
The 'padding' subjects found in similar courses are abridged, while the
important issues of the oils, their safety and therapeutic uses are far

If someone
requires a full aromatherapy qualification, in most countries this means
they have to take practical classes including massage. We no longer provide
that training in the UK, but it can be arranged in Canada and the USA
via approved teachers.
